Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver is possibly the best movie of 2017. There are a lot of great things about this film, but there is no discussion about this film without mentioning the score. The creative way that Wright incorporates music into this film is half the reason it turned out so successful. The cast is also a standout, in particular Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey, both of whom show their acting prowess. This film does pretty much everything right and offers a complete story with fleshed out characters and a well-thought out plot. There haven’t been very many movies this year which compare with this one and it deserves all the praise it has been offered.
Great soundtrack, great cast, and worth multiple views in quick succession.
