I am a film fan. When I was young I spent much of my life bouncing from town to town and I found that films offered me a necessary escape from the loneliness of not knowing anyone. I consider myself knowledgeable about the classics and open to the new blockbusters and every indie, foreign, or underground film in between.

There are a lot of great directors operating in cinema, both now and in the past. The four from the past who mean the most to me are Kubrick, Kurosawa, Kiarostami, and Kieslowski. The four Ks of world cinema. Each with a unique perspective and each responsible for a major change to the world of film.

The goal of this blog is to give me an outlet through which I can share my love of movies with anyone and everyone. I love movies because they have guided me into adulthood and because they were there for me when no one else was. I hope that you enjoy my blog.
