Victoria – 2015

A long shot, that’s the best way to describe Victoria. This film could have gone very wrong. Sebastian Schipper put his heart and soul into this film and it shows in the finished project. To take a cast of young actors and create a film done in one 140 minute take, proves exactly how painstaking the directing process can be. There were so many moments when this film could have failed, but everything came together and Schipper delivered an impressive film that builds unceasingly. Though it starts off slow, it picks up about halfway in and doesn’t stop until the credits roll.

The intensity is thrilling and it’s worth the ride, just don’t look away or you might miss some spectacular camera work.

Heart-pounding, but worth every second and deserving of…
