Jurassic Park – 1993

“Life finds a way.” The premise of Jurassic Park may seem far-fetched, but, thanks to the expert direction of Spielberg and the impressive special effects of the nineties, it succeeds where other movies would have failed. Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum lead a fantastic cast who are exploring the newly designed theme park featuring live dinosaurs. Thanks to the interference of a computer technician and a hurricane, everything goes awry and the dinosaurs go on the hunt as the innocent park visitors become their prey. With a stand out performance from the late Richard Attenborough and consultants helping get details as right as they could, Jurassic Park is a film that successfully merged science fiction with a thrilling adventure and the result is extraordinary.

Hollywood has recently renewed their interest in dinosaurs so this film is even more relevant as a new sequel arrives next year.

Can’t beat the classics…
